VFX Digital Fashion Shoot
Blending 3D Design, Motion Capture and Visual Effects

This experimental project introduced a new workflow that brings together digital fashion, VFX, and motion capture to create immersive fashion visuals. Working with model Jacqui, I led the entire creative process from concept to execution. We began with green screen filming, capturing live motion to serve as the foundation for the final 3D garment design.
Using this motion data, I designed a digital dress in 3D and composited it into a dynamic scene, enhancing the look with visual effects and post production techniques. Although this originally started as a client project, the direction shifted midway, and I chose to develop it as a standalone case study to demonstrate the creative possibilities unlocked through this pipeline.
This workflow merges physical performance with digital couture, offering a fresh and scalable solution for fashion campaigns, editorials, and concept films. It’s an approach that opens doors for future collaborations between brands, artists, and digital creators.
If you're a brand or creative team interested in exploring this type of hybrid production, I’d be happy to consult on how this can be tailored to your vision.
